Alex Weber

Alex Weber is a seasoned Staff Software Engineer at Tenable since January 2013, with extensive experience in vulnerability automation and intelligence, as well as reverse engineering. In the current role, Alex contributes to a system that ingests and normalizes vulnerability data, utilizing technologies such as Python 3, Kafka, Elasticsearch, AWS, and Kubernetes. Previous responsibilities included developing plugins for the Nessus vulnerability scanner, integrating enterprise products with ServiceNow, and enhancing network protocol libraries. Prior to Tenable, Alex interned as a Unix Systems Administrator at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, managing HP-UX and AIX servers. Alex holds a diploma in Business Information Technology specializing in Network Management from Red River College.
