Javier Salazar

Javier Salazar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Channel Sales Manager at Tenable since July 2019, Javier has also held significant positions at LACNIC, including Vice President of the Board of Directors since January 2005, and as a member of the External Consultative Committee at NIC Mexico. Javier's previous roles include CTO and COO at BLUEWORKS, Director for Special Projects at xPortal Group, Solutions Architect at Ericsson, Engineering Director at Micronet de Mexico, and SE at Cisco Systems, where expertise in DWDM and Carrier Ethernet was developed. Additionally, Javier held managerial roles at Avantel, S.A., and served as Engineering Manager North at Consorcio Red UNo. Javier earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Electronics and Communications from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master's degree in Teleinformatics from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
