Mike Sumner

Mike Sumner has extensive experience in the technology and cybersecurity sectors, currently serving as ANZ Channels at Tenable since January 2024 and as Director of Systems Engineering - Cortex for JAPAC at Palo Alto Networks since June 2021. Prior to these roles, Mike held leadership positions at Check Point Software Technologies as Northern Region Director, at Amazon Web Services as Director of Solutions Architecture for APAC, and at VMware as Senior Director of Technical Services APJ. Mike's career began at IBM, where various roles culminated in the position of Director of Tivoli Professional Services for APAC. Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
