Ryan Hoy

Ryan Hoy is a Senior Engineering Manager at Tenable, where they focus on innovation, process improvement, and building effective software engineering teams. Previously, they served as a Research Engineering Manager at Tenable and an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Dakota State University. Ryan's early career included various roles in the United States Air Force, including Language Analyst and Network Security Analyst. They are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Cyber Operations at Dakota State University and have also been an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Arizona since 2022. Ryan holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems Management from Park University.
