Sam Collins

Sam Collins is a Senior Software Engineer at Tenable, having joined in July 2023, where responsibilities include designing and implementing a high-volume pipeline for cyber exposure data. Previously, Sam was a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services from November 2021 to July 2023, focusing on EC2 Networking and backend engineering for large-scale distributed systems. Prior experiences also include a tenure at Tenable as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, and a role at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where Sam contributed to Java Spring microservices and served as a technical mentor. Sam began a career in software engineering with an internship at General Dynamics Mission Systems and gained experience at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
