Tom Barnea

Tom Barnea is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as a Product Researcher in AI Security at Tenable since November 2025, and as a Member of the Management Board for the IDF Cyber Defense Alumni since July 2025. Previously, Barnea worked as a Forensics Specialist at Varonis, where responsibilities included leading incident response cases and conducting research into emerging threats. Barnea also has a background in education, having served as a Group Facilitator and Educational Coordinator in the Hebrew Scouts Movement and as a Team Leader and Instructor for the Cyber Security Practitioner Course at the IDF's J6 & Cyber Defense Directorate. With a strong foundation in networking and cybersecurity, Barnea is dedicated to driving advancements and educational initiatives in the field.
