TAG is a boutique firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Manchester. It acts exclusively for UK corporate tenants and owner occupiers helping them to maximise the return from their property spend.

The bulk of TAG's work focuses on office and industrial relocations, dilapidations negotiations, break option surrenders and lease renewals.

Our professional team includes experts in Transaction Management, Landlord & Tenant, Building Surveying, Business Rates and Service Charges.

The business is led by its founder, Martyn Markland a Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years of experience in the sector both in the UK and overseas.

“Our role is to level the playing field between professional landlords and their tenants. This differentiates us from most other firms which tend to act predominately in Landlords’ interests. Those firms have little interest in changing the status quo."

"It has always struck me as being slightly odd that property advisers that have a vested interest in rents and capital values rising should be retained by corporate tenants that are seeking the exact opposite. I believe this inherent conflict of interest represents a very real risk to all businesses no matter what their scale. In my experience, the best way of mitigating such risk is by retaining an adviser that is truly free of such conflicts. That is not a sales pitch, it is just common sense.”
