Brian Yu is a Senior Counsel at Tencent, specializing in TMT, entertainment, data privacy, investment funds, and finance regulatory matters. Previously, Brian held associate positions at Nixon Peabody LLP, HFG Law & IP Practice, and Withersworldwide, as well as serving as Corporate Counsel at Bandai Namco Entertainment in Japan. Brian's experience includes working in corporate finance at the Bank of China from 2011 to 2013. Brian is tri-lingual in Chinese, English, and Japanese and is qualified in both China and the UK. Brian earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from East China University of Political Science and Law and a Master of Laws (LLM) from University College London.
