David Zhang is a highly experienced engineer specializing in AI and cloud technologies, currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Tencent since August 2018, focusing on AI accelerators and storage servers. Prior to this role, David worked at Huawei from April 2002 to August 2018 as a Senior Engineer, contributing to the development of Hisilicon in-house CPU and GPU cores, as well as various system-on-chip (SoC) solutions for mobile applications and telecommunications. David holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Optical Engineering from Tianjin University, earned between 1995 and 2002.
