Ella Wang

Ella WANG is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in climate and energy initiatives, currently serving as a Senior Fellow at Tencent's Carbon Neutrality Lab since October 2021. Prior to this, Ella held the position of Head of Practice for Climate & Energy, Green Finance at WWF-China and managed the China Program at the Global Green Growth Institute. Ella's earlier career includes leadership as Executive Managing Director at Elion Resource Group, focusing on carbon asset development, and as Senior Manager at China Beijing Environmental Exchange, where project development in carbon trading and cooperation initiatives were prioritized. Ella began her career as a Senior Campaigner at Greenpeace, spearheading efforts to address chemical pollution. Ella holds a Master's degree in Politics of the World Economy from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Law with a focus on Diplomacy from Renmin University of China.
