Min Qiu is an Expert Engineer and Tech Lead at Tencent's Database R&D Center, where they focus on building and growing the engineering team with an emphasis on query processing technologies for cloud-native OLTP and OLAP products. Previously, Qiu held positions at Oracle as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, worked at Applatix, Inc. building backend infrastructure for a SaaS product, and served as a Staff Software Engineer at Alibaba Group, specializing in query optimization for SQL engines. Additionally, Qiu contributed to query processing technologies for big data analytics at Huawei Technologies. Qiu earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently pursuing further education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
