Robbie Cheng is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Tencent since July 2016, Robbie leads a team focused on developing algorithms for automatic stock selection in the China stock market. Previously, Robbie held senior engineering roles at Baidu, Inc., where contributions included large-scale machine learning algorithms for advertising and recommendation systems. Earlier career experiences included positions as a Research and Development Engineer at Baidu and a visiting scholar at AT&T, with a focus on CTR prediction and mobile video recommendations. Robbie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Fudan University.
