Wenhui Yang

Wenhui Yang currently serves as the General Manager of Tencent Financial Technology for the Asia Pacific region since January 2021. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at UnionPay International from April 2009 to January 2021, where Wenhui Yang held positions such as General Manager for Europe and South East Asia, Deputy General Manager, and Senior Manager. Earlier roles include Senior Account Manager at American Express and Field Marketing Manager at Axalto/Gemalto. Wenhui Yang began a career in technology at Schlumberger, progressing from Field Engineer to Senior Software Engineer specializing in bank card personalization. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Public Administration from the National University of Singapore and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Computer Science from Peking University.
