Daniel Marreco

Lead Software Architect at Tenchi Security

Daniel Marreco has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Daniel began their career in 1998 as a Developer/IT Lead at Empresa Júnior PUC-Rio. In 2003, they founded and served as CTO of Cortex Intelligence, an established data intelligence startup in Latin America. In 2007, they became a System Architect at Globo.com and then a Technical Consultant IV at HP in 2008. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as an Engineering Team Lead at ANBIMA and a Consultant at Knowledge21. In 2017, they founded and served as CTO of Benie Saúde and also worked as a CTO at K21. Daniel currently serves as a Lead Software Architect at Tenchi Security.

Daniel Marreco obtained their M.Sc. in Software Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro between 2003 and 2005. Prior to this, they obtained an Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Servomechanisms + decision support systems from the same institution between 1996 and 2002. Daniel also holds certifications from the Project Management Institute, Scrum Alliance, and Sun. These include a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification obtained in 2008, a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification obtained in 2016, and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Professional-Product Owner, Certified Scrum Developer (CSD), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and Sun Certified Java Programmer 6 certifications all obtained in 2017 and 2019.
