Leo Scott Smith

Leo Scott Smith is the founder and CEO of Tended, a company that focuses on developing advanced safety solutions using wearables and artificial intelligence. Under their leadership, Tended has grown into a successful venture, working with leading companies such as Rolls Royce, Unilever, and Siemens to prevent workplace accidents.

In addition to their work at Tended, Leo also became a member of Founders Pledge in 2019. Founders Pledge is a global community of entrepreneurs dedicated to funding solutions for pressing global issues. As a pledger, Leo has made a legally binding commitment to donate a portion of their personal proceeds on liquidity to social causes.

Before Tended and Founders Pledge, Leo served as a trustee and program manager at Lincs2Nepal, a charity focused on improving education, health, and the general development of families in Nepal. In this role, they worked in both the UK and Nepal, supporting school projects and disaster relief missions following the 2015 earthquake.

Leo's work experience also includes founding Inhabit Sustainable Design in 2010. As a founder and architectural technician, they managed a range of sustainable building projects and was responsible for conceptual designs, liaising with authorities and specialists, and overseeing project completion. Despite their success with Inhabit Sustainable Design, Leo ended their involvement in the company in September 2016.

Leo Scott Smith attended Banovallum Horncastle from 2005 to 2010, but did not obtain any degrees or specializations during this time. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued an Advanced Engineering diploma in Product Design at QEGS Horncastle. Leo has also received an Advanced Engineering Diploma, but no further information is available regarding its institution or when it was obtained.
