Ray Byrd

Ray Byrd, CTP, currently serves as Vice President of Fleet & Safety at Tendit Group since September 2024. Prior to this role, Ray held the position of Vice President of Transportation and Distribution at Pioneer Landscape Centers from October 2019 to September 2024, where Ray oversaw fleet operations, vendor relationships, and managed the budget for approximately 60 locations. With extensive experience at PepsiCo from January 2006 to March 2019, Ray progressed through various roles including Director of Logistics, Distribution, and Transportation, where Ray managed distribution for ten production facilities in the Western US and ensured compliance with regulations. Earlier positions at PepsiCo included Director of Fleet Maintenance, National Fleet Operations Manager, and Market Unit Fleet Manager, emphasizing fleet management, compliance, and operational efficiency. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science in Logistics & Transportation from both Howard University and Southern New Hampshire University.
