Derrick founded JetHop in January 2019, aiming to make private aviation more accessible. Derrick served as a Board Member for TEDxLincoln from June 2012 to June 2013, where leadership in fundraising was instrumental in launching the event. Additionally, Derrick was a Partner at red9 from 2008 to 2009. Derrick's educational background includes studies at the University of San Diego, Universidad Católica de Córdoba, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
