Ben Maries CA is a qualified chartered accountant and currently serves as a financial controller with Teneo, The Global CEO Advisory Firm, since July 2025. With over six years of post-qualification experience, Ben previously spent nearly a decade at EY, where they trained in the Cambridge office and worked primarily with private and listed companies across various sectors, including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Ben's expertise includes complex accounting matters and guiding clients through new accounting guidance, and they excel in building high-performing teams. Prior to joining Teneo, Ben went on secondment to EY New York City, enhancing their skills in SOX compliance, US GAAP, and SEC reporting. Outside of work, Ben enjoys music, football, rugby, theatre, and attending festivals.
