Benoit Cormier

Benoit Cormier is a seasoned diplomat and international relations expert currently serving as Managing Director at Teneo since October 2023. Previous roles include Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU's Political and Security Committee for the French Permanent Representation to the European Union from 2021 to 2023, and Deputy Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau from 2019 to 2021. Benoit has also held key positions at The World Bank as a Special Adviser, and has experience as a Visiting Fellow at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Additional roles include Deputy Director for Press and Communications at the Embassy of France in the United States and a Transatlantic Diplomatic Fellow at the U.S. Department of State. Early career experiences include serving as Deputy Spokesperson for European Affairs at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and completing a press and communications internship at the European Commission. Benoit holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Sciences Po.
