Eric Herman

Eric Herman is a seasoned professional in communications and public affairs with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Managing Director at Teneo since November 2024, Eric previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Avōq from February 2012 to October 2024, after its formation from the merger of Kivvit and Subject Matter in 2023. Prior to this, Eric was Managing Director at Kivvit, Director of the Public Affairs Practice at Burson-Marsteller, and Director of Communications at the Cook County Assessor's Office. Eric began a career in journalism as a reporter for the New York Daily News and later as a staff reporter at the Chicago Sun-Times. Eric holds a B.A. in English from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law.
