Jason Smith, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity research and management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Teneo since November 2020, Jason has previously held several leadership roles including Senior Vice President at the same firm. Prior to Teneo, Jason worked as Vice President and Analyst at Buckingham Capital Management, Inc. from June 2016 to 2020, and as Vice President in various capacities focusing on consumer research and retail equity at Cantor Fitzgerald and Canaccord Genuity Inc. Jason began his career at Value Line, where roles included Senior Industry Analyst and Issue Chief for Mutual Funds. Jason earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Electronic Journalism from Hofstra University between 1995 and 1999.
