Daniel Messer has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel started their career as a Software Engineer at Cray Research Inc., where they worked on implementing network protocols and improving the implementation of the NFS protocol. Daniel then joined UnitedHealth Group as a Software Engineer, where they focused on CORBA infrastructure implementation and security infrastructure design for distributed applications.

After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at EBF & Associates, where they developed proprietary tools for handling complex financial instruments in an intranet environment. Additionally, they pioneered a large-scale Web Service-based B2B environment to link to Morgan Stanley's portfolio management system.

Following their time at EBF & Associates, Daniel joined Sun Microsystems and SGI as a Senior Software Engineer. During their tenure, they worked on various software projects and contributed to the development of the companies' technologies.

Daniel Messer earned their Masters degree in Robotic from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 1990. Prior to that, they obtained another Masters degree in Computer Science from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 1984 to 1989.
