John Ickes

John Ickes has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. John began their career as an Industrial Designer at Dam Site Design, where they gained exposure and experience in various phases of the business. Later, they joined Design Central as an Industrial Design Director, leading internal teams and strengthening client relationships. In 1999, they joined Johnson Controls Automotive Group as a Sr. Industrial Design Manager, providing creative leadership and overseeing design deliverables from a diverse team. Since 2006, John has been associated with Tennant Company, holding positions such as Principal Industrial Designer, Sr. Principal Industrial Designer, and Director of Industrial Design and Innovation. At Tennant Company, they introduced and implemented the Visual Brand Language, built an award-winning Industrial Design discipline, and developed multiple revenue-enhancing product solutions, earning several patents.
