John Starkel

John Starkel, CSM®, has extensive work experience in systems engineering, verification, and reliability. John worked as a Principal Engineer at Tenneco since March 2011. Prior to that, they were a Senior Project Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems from July 2008 to July 2009. From August 2002 to July 2008, they served as a Lead Project Engineer at Teleflex Incorporated. John also worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace from March 1992 to August 2002. John began their career as a Quality Control Intern at General Motors from September 1990 to March 1992.

John Starkel, CSM®, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and Saginaw Valley State University. John has also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in 2022. Additionally, they have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
