Steve Gao has over 20 years of experience in the field of RFIC design. steve is currently working as the RFIC Director at Roshmere Inc since June 2017. Prior to this, they held various roles at Tensorcom Inc., including RFIC/MMIC Design Manager and Principal RFIC Design Engineer. steve also worked as a Staff Analog/RFIC Design Engineer at Entropic Communications, Staff RFIC Design Engineer at Spreadtrum Communication, and RFIC Design Engineer at Nokia. Additionally, they have experience as an Analog/RFIC Design Engineer at Ashvattha Semiconductor, and as an Analog/Mixed-signal Engineer at CNXT. Steve Gao started their career as a design engineer at Cirrus Logic.

Steve Gao pursued education between 1994 and 1998 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they became a PhD Candidate in the field of Electrical Engineering.
