Shariq Ali

Shariq Ali has a diverse work experience in sales and account management. Shariq held the position of Sales Director at TenX (formerly Analytics Pvt Ltd) from February 2019 onwards. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Sales at TASDEEQ from February 2019 to April 2023. Shariq also worked at Teradata as an Account Director from November 2012 to January 2019, where they were responsible for educating and updating clients on Enterprise Data Warehousing, selling company solutions to the FSI sector in Pakistan, maintaining accounts, and planning for sales growth. Earlier in their career, Shariq held various sales roles at TechAccess Pakistan and REDtone Telecommunication Pakistan. Shariq started as a Sales Account Manager at TechAccess Pakistan in December 2006 and later became a Sales Manager in January 2012. At REDtone Telecommunication Pakistan, they worked as a Corporate Account Manager from February 2006 to November 2006. Shariq also served as the Manager of Corporate Data Networks at AMZ Technologies Private Limited from July 2003 to January 2006.

Shariq Ali completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Sindh, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Shariq then pursued an MSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it from 1998 to 2001.

In terms of additional certifications, Shariq received several sales-related certifications in 2011. These include the Exadata 11gR2 Sales Specialist certification from Oracle, the NetApp Accredited Sales Associate Exam, and various sales specialist certifications related to Oracle Solaris Cluster, Sun Modular Disk Storage, Sun SPARC Enterprise Entry Level Mid Range and High End M Series Servers, Sun SPARC Enterprise T-Series Servers, and Sun Storage 7000 Unified Storage System.
