Murtaza Amil

Murtaza Amil has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Murtaza currently holds the position of VP Strategic Projects at TEOCO, a telecom software company. Prior to this, Murtaza worked as the Director of Growth Marketing at Teikametrics from April 2021 to October 2023. Murtaza also served as the President of VideoMining from December 2019 to March 2021. Murtaza has a history with TEOCO, where they held the role of Executive Director from November 2015 to December 2018. At Respond.com, they were the CEO from June 2011 to November 2015, where they successfully grew the business and implemented a tiered pricing structure. Earlier in their career, Murtaza held senior positions at TEOCO, including Sr. Principal/Business Manager and Country Manager - India, where they oversaw product management, operational activities, and the setup of the company's India operations. Murtaza also worked as a Director of Marketing & Sales, leading the development of in-house tools for tracking PPC campaign performance. Murtaza started their career as a Management Consultant at CSC, where they worked on business strategy and go-to-market strategy projects for clients across industries.

Murtaza Amil holds an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship & General Management from The Wharton School, which was obtained from 2010 to 2012. Murtaza also has an M.S. degree in Information Systems from George Mason University, completed from 1996 to 1998. Murtaza holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Chemical Engineering, both obtained from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 1991 to 1996.
