Rod deVillers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
Rod joined TEOCO in 2019 and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and Delivery. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Software Engineering, Production Operations, and Product Management at TEOCO from December 2021 to November 2023. In this role, they significantly improved team performance and reduced defects by 95%. Rod successfully implemented the Scrum model and created a defect-free release environment in 2022.
Before joining TEOCO, Rod was the Managing Director and Founder of Upward Capable from February 2012 to August 2019, where they were responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company.
In 2011, Rod worked as the Vice President of Consulting at Driver6, Inc. for a short period of time, from July 2011 to February 2012.
Prior to that, Rod worked at Global Crossing as the Director of Financial Systems from July 2008 to July 2011.
Throughout their career, Rod has demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, contributing to the success of the companies they have worked with.
Rod deVillers attended Strayer University-Maryland from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Business Management. In 2020, they also earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC).
