Dr. Bert Grobben

Dr. Bert Grobben currently serves as CEO of Budding Innovation, a Singapore-based venture and business builder since September 2015, and holds roles as Senior Advisor Business Development and Chief Business Officer at REVIVO BioSystems since October 2019, focusing on microfluidic skin-on-a-chip systems. In addition, Dr. Grobben is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore and an IIPCC member with the International IP Commercialisation Council (SG Chapter) since May 2023. Other significant positions include Business Advisor roles at ArrowBiome and Greenitio, as well as mentoring for startups in MedTech and Life Sciences through the German Accelerator Southeast Asia and Singapore Therapeutics Development Review (STDR). Dr. Grobben is also the Founder and IronPreneur-in-Residence at Ironpreneurs. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Antwerp.
