Robert Koch

Robert Koch has had a diverse career in the renewable energy industry. Robert most recently served as the Vice President of Sales at Terabase Energy, a position they started in February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Element Energy, Inc. from June 2021 to May 2022.

Before their role at Element Energy, Inc., Robert was the Managing Member at Solar Re, LLC, a start-up focused on refinancing commercial and industrial solar power plants. Robert held this position from August 2020 to February 2021. Additionally, they worked as the Managing Partner at Water Assurance Partners, a start-up aimed at providing water treatment solutions to almond and pistachio growers in California. Robert held this role from January 2019 to March 2020.

Robert has also held significant positions at NEXTracker, Inc., where they served as the SVP of Business Development, contributing to the company's global growth and IPO. Robert was in this position from June 2016 to May 2018. Robert also served as a Board Member at Latitude 38 Entertainment, the producer of the Bottlerock Music Festival, from March 2014 to December 2016.

Prior to that, Robert was the CEO/co-founder of BrightBox Technologies Inc, a company focused on developing and selling model-based control systems for electro-mechanical systems. BrightBox was later acquired by NEXTracker. Robert held this role from January 2013 to May 2016. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at PV Evolution Labs, a provider of reliability testing services for photovoltaic buyers and manufacturers, from January 2011 to April 2014.

Robert's career also includes a role as a General Partner at NGEN Partners LLC from July 2005 to June 2010 and as a Board Director at Solaria Corporation, a leading supplier of high-efficiency solar panels, from 2006 to 2010.

Robert Koch earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
