Jaco Underhay has extensive experience in the field of environment, health, and safety operations. Jaco is currently serving as the Head of Environment, Health, and Safety Operations, Infrastructure, and Projects at Teraco Data Environments. Prior to this, Jaco worked as the Organization Manager at Underhay Trust Aquaponics from 2018 to 2021. Jaco also held roles such as Health Safety Environment Coordinator at Stefanutti Stocks, Head Of Project Management Office at SARA Rope Access Global, and Group SHE Manager at Stefanutti Stocks (Pty) Ltd. Jaco Underhay's education history is as follows:

From 2011 to 2015, Jaco attended The Da Vinci Institute and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Operational Risk.

In 2016, Jaco enrolled in FET College and pursued a National Diploma (N6 - Civil Engineering) in Civil Engineering, which they completed in 2022.

In 2015, Jaco obtained a certificate in Quality Management from TIQMS.

From 2017 to 2018, Jaco studied at Very Cool Ideas and obtained qualifications as a Facilitator and Assessor in Education.

During 2009 and 2010, Jaco attended NOSA (Micro Mega) and acquired certifications in SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, and ISO AUDITOR in Occupational Safety.

Between 1998 and 2000, Jaco attended Vaal University of Technology, where they received a National Higher Certificate. Their field of study included Accounting, Auditing, and Contracts Law.

In 2016, Jaco earned an Accredited Professional designation from Green Building of South Africa, specializing in Sustainability Studies.

In 2015, Jaco underwent training at Aurecon in Carbon Footprint and Sustainability.

In 2014, Jaco participated in courses on Leadership and Management, Situational Leadership at the Business School of Netherlands, and GRI G4 Sustainability management and reporting at ESS.

Jaco also earned a Quality Auditor Certificate from NOSA NQA in 2014.

From 2012 to 2013, Jaco pursued a COMSOC Diploma in Mine Health and Safety from the Chamber of Mines.

In 2011 and 2012, Jaco attended IRCA Global and studied Management of Technology and Innovation, focusing on Health, Safety, and Environment.

In 2004, Jaco acquired a Higher Certificate in Metallurgy from the University of the Witwatersrand.
