Johnny Gipson

Johnny Gipson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science, analytics, and business performance across various industries, specifically in finance, manufacturing, and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Director of AI/ML & Analytics at Teradata, Johnny focuses on driving cloud analytics solutions through Teradata Vantage Cloud Lake. Prior to this role, Johnny spent over 13 years at BP, where responsibilities included financial reporting, strategic planning, and project management, culminating in roles such as Business Performance and Planning Manager. Johnny holds advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Data Science from Southern Methodist University, an MBA from the University of Houston, and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston. An undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering is also held from Texas A&M University.
