Matthew McDonald

Matthew McDonald is an experienced director and enterprise architect specializing in master data and data governance. Currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Architecture at Teradata since July 2022, McDonald leads the design and architecture for a multiyear Oracle and Salesforce deployment and develops key governance strategies through a long-term data architecture roadmap. Previously, McDonald worked at DXC Technology from April 2017 to July 2022 as Principal Enterprise Architect, where responsibilities included driving organizational change in master data management and chairing the master data governance council. Prior roles also include positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where McDonald built a Data Governance Framework, and BP, where leadership focused on standardization and project management of finance master data initiatives. McDonald began a career at HP, holding several positions, including Master Data Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst. McDonald holds a BBA in Management from Texas A&M University.
