Stuart Newman

Stuart Newman is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Chief Legal Counsel and Deputy International Counsel for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) at Teradata since June 2010. Stuart's responsibilities include managing APJ's legal function and team, as well as negotiating multi-million dollar agreements related to hardware, software, services, cloud, and SaaS for data warehouse systems. Prior to Teradata, Stuart held various positions at Capgemini, including Vice-President and General Counsel for Asia Pacific and Group Counsel, where responsibilities included overseeing the APAC legal team and negotiating significant outsourcing and systems integration agreements. Stuart's legal career began at Unisys Australia, where contracts related to IT systems integration and outsourcing were negotiated. Stuart holds a LLB and a Bachelor of Business in Communication, Law, and Journalism from Queensland University of Technology.
