Veena Gowda

Veena Gowda is a seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience in software engineering and IT management. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Teradata since February 2013, Veena leads a global team of over 200 professionals, focusing on observability engineering, customer developer tools, platform engineering, and test engineering. Prior positions at Teradata include Senior Director roles in Engineering Shared Services and Quality & Tools. Veena's earlier career includes significant IT leadership roles at Conexant and Epstein Architecture, Engineering, and Construction, where responsibilities encompassed global IT functions and infrastructure management. Veena holds a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from Monmouth University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University, along with various professional development certifications in executive management and project management.
