Ty Akin

Ty Akin has over 30 years of experience in sales and management within the technology and automation sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Sales at Teradyne since October 2007, Akin has held various leadership roles including Sales and Operations Director and Executive Director of Strategic Accounts, managing a global sales territory exceeding $1 billion. Akin's career began as an Account Manager at Diebold and includes positions as Sales Engineer at Silicon Valley Group, US Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Manager at Teradyne, reflecting a progressive trajectory in sales leadership. Akin holds a BA and MBA from the University of Oklahoma, completed from 1986 to 1992.
