Hélio Clemente

Hélio Clemente's work experience spans various roles and industries. Hélio started their career as a Network Technician at CERT-IPN in 2009. Hélio then worked as a ScholarShip (Junior Researcher) at CEOT-UAlg from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, they worked as an Industrial Automation Engineer at MCM, where they developed systems for industrial automation.

From 2013 to 2015, Hélio worked as a System Integration Engineer at Nokia's Networks business. Hélio'sresponsibilities included infrastructure virtualization, storage administration, system and network administration, system upgrades, and product compatibility testing.

In 2015, they joined Impresa Publishing as a Sysadmin/DevOps, where they focused on continuous improvement and implemented agile methods. Hélio also started a 'Big Data' team to explore new business opportunities. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Lead DevOps at the same company, optimizing team speed and promoting knowledge sharing among development teams.

In 2019, Hélio joined Truphone as a Senior SRE - Operations Team Lead, responsible for troubleshooting customer complaints and implementing changes to live systems. Hélio then became the Service Reliability Lead, managing telco BSS/OSS systems and enabling autonomy for software delivery teams. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Chief Reliability Engineer, overseeing the deployment and management of telco systems and training teams on reliability principles.

Currently, Hélio is working at Teralytics as the Chief Reliability Engineer. No end date is provided for this role, indicating that they are currently still employed at the company.

Hélio Clemente obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences with a focus on Information Technologies and Electronics from Universidade do Algarve. Hélio completed this degree between the years 2005 and 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering (M.Eng.) specializing in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Universidade do Algarve, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. In 2010 and 2011, Hélio also pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Hélio obtained two certifications in April 2022. Hélio completed the "Foundations of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)" certification from LinkedIn and the "Smarter Cities: Using Data to Drive Urban Innovation" certification, also from LinkedIn.
