Son Tran

Son Tran is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in medical imaging and algorithm development. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at TeraRecon, Inc. since October 2019, Son Tran previously worked at CorelineSoft R&D Center from February 2014 to October 2019, where significant improvements were made in chest CT image processing time through the use of convolutional networks. Earlier roles included designing fault-tolerant console management systems for X-ray machines at GEMSS-MEDICAL, contributing to the development of a virtual colonoscopy system at Seoul National University's Computer Graphic Lab, and assisting in ultrasound technology development at the National Center for Technology. Son Tran holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Seoul National University and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from Hanoi University of Science.
