Mathieu Drolet

Mathieu Drolet has significant experience in engineering and management, currently serving as President at TeraXion since April 2018, where responsibilities have included overseeing a cross-functional team of 20 engineers and leading the development of laser sources for optical gyroscopes. Previous roles include Engineering Consultant, where project management and engineering leadership were key in delivering an RF photonics prototype, and Laser Optics Engineering Manager at ESI, where a high-power UV laser product was developed, generating over $15 million in revenue. Mathieu's career began as a Laser Researcher at INO, managing a $1 million development program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physics from Université Laval, along with ongoing studies at MIT Sloan School of Management focused on managing technical professionals and developing successful technology strategies.
