Debra Bernstein

Senior Researcher

Debra Bernstein is an education researcher with over 15 years of experience in K-12 STEM education initiatives, specializing in evaluating learning processes and outcomes in innovative environments. They have worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh and held various roles at TERC, including Leader 3 at the STEM Education Evaluation Center, where they led multiple federally funded projects. Currently, Debra is pursuing a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, along with a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
