Teon Edwards co-founded the Educational Gaming Environments group (EdGE) at TERC in July 1996, where currently serves as Lead Designer and Production Manager, focusing on the design and research of free-choice STEM learning games. Edwards has extensive experience as a curriculum developer, lead designer, and project director, having created science-learning materials, curricula, museum exhibits, and after-school program resources. As a member of the Executive Committee of the Center for STEM Teaching and Learning (CSTL) since its inception, Edwards became Chair in January 2017. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Materials Developer at Tertl Studios from April 2008 to June 2011, leading various education projects. Edwards holds a Master's degree in Education with Technology and Multimedia from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree from Williams College.
