John Carter

John Carter, CPP, has a diverse work experience in the field of security. John is currently the Director of Security at TERMA Group, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DataPath, Inc. from 2014 to 2022 as the Director of Security, Facilities & Safety - FSO. In this role, they were responsible for physical security, Department of Defense program security, facility operations, and management.

Before joining DataPath, Inc., John worked at Rockwell Collins from 2009 to 2014 as the Senior Manager of Security Operations. In this position, they oversaw physical security operations, investigations, risk management analysis, and standardization efforts for the Global Security team. John also provided primary security oversight for 300+ cleared employees deployed with the US military overseas.

From 2007 to 2009, they served as the Corporate Security Officer at DataPath, Inc., where they had overall security oversight for all commercial and government programs. John was also responsible for facilities management, safety compliance, and strategic real estate teams.
