Lars Overby

Lars Overby is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software development, research and development, and global operations. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Development at TERMA Group since August 2016, Lars previously held multiple senior leadership roles at Danfoss from 2003 to 2016, including Vice President of Research & Development, where Lars led a global R&D organization with over 75 employees across multiple countries. Additional roles at Danfoss included Vice President of Operation and Research & Development, overseeing global operations, and Senior Director of Research and Development, focused on building an efficient R&D team. Before these roles, Lars was the Senior Director of Global Purchasing at Danfoss Drives A/S, managing a significant purchasing organization. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from the University of Southern Denmark, supplemented by executive education at Hult Ashridge.
