Johnson Hsu

Johnson Hsu has over 17 years of experience in the technology industry. In 2018, they began working as a Business System Analyst and Technical Talent Sourcer for Terminal. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Test Strategist for D2L, where they were responsible for maintaining high quality software across two agile development teams. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Enterprise Training Manager for BlackBerry, where they were responsible for gathering training requirements from both internal and external stakeholders and creating training plans to allow consistent delivery of technical training. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst for D2L, where they were responsible for performing exploratory tests of existing and new controls of the learning management system. From 2003 to 2013, they worked for BlackBerry in various roles, including Principal Instructor, Team Lead - Facilitation, Lead Technical Instructor, and Technical Instructor. In their role as Software Test Developer, they were responsible for holding regular meetings with developers to understand the full scope of features and develop test cases to test boundaries and limitations of pre-set requirement.

Johnson Hsu received their Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Johnson also holds three certifications: Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance obtained in June 2013, Advanced Facilitation Skills for Trainers from Friesen, Kaye and Associates obtained in May 2008, and Adult Instructional Techniques from Friesen, Kaye and Associates obtained in May 2007.
