John Sims

John Sims has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. John started their career as a Technical Support Supervisor at CORPORATE MAINTENANCE in 2006 and held the position until 2017. In 2017, they joined Farmers Doors as a System Administrator and worked until 2020. During this period, they also pursued a full-time Bachelor of Applied Cloud Technology at La Trobe University, expecting to complete it in May 2023. In 2022, John joined Terminalfour as a Senior Server and Software Support Engineer, where they are currently employed.

John Sims obtained a Diploma of Applied Cloud Technology from La Trobe University in the field of Computer Science from 2020 to 2021. John then pursued a Bachelors of Applied Cloud Technology degree at the same university from 2020 to 2023, also in the field of Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, John Sims has obtained several certifications. In July 2020, they became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner through Amazon Web Services (AWS). In November 2021, they obtained the VMware certified Technical Associate Data Center Virtualization 2021 certification from VMware. Lastly, in August 2022, John Sims achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification, and in May 2022, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification, both from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
