Terminus-energy.com develops innovative flywheel energy storage systems (FESS) for high-power applications such as ultra-fast EV charging, grid support and energy arbitrage.

Our technology is designed to buffer large power peaks, enabling Megawatt Charging Systems even in locations with limited grid capacity. A single flywheel system can deliver megawatt-scale discharge power, supporting the simultaneous fast charging of multiple electric vehicles.

Combining low cost, high power density, long lifetime and minimal degradation, our FESS will compete with battery systems.

Based in Denmark, DTU, we are currently developing and validating the next-generation mechanical energy storage solution.
