Matt Bertram began their career in real estate in 2002 as an Analyst Intern at Compass Properties, LLC. In this role, they handled financial analysis and due diligence for acquisitions and development throughout the state of Wisconsin. In 2003, they joined Prudential Mortgage Capital as a Principal and ran the Midwest and Northeast CMBS Team. During their tenure, their team was consistently the top producing by volume and revenue. Matt also managed nearly $1 billion in distressed assets. In 2017, Matt founded TermSt., a venture-funded company located within the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) at Georgia Tech. As the CEO, they and their team are revolutionizing the CRE Financing market by bringing efficiency and transparency to an industry.
Matt Bertram obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Real Estate & Finance from the Wisconsin School of Business between 1999 and 2002. In February 2006, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
