Ruby B.

Ruby B. currently serves as the Chief Investment and Partnerships Officer at Terner Labs since March 2025. Prior to this role, Ruby held various leadership positions at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative from May 2018 to March 2025, including Vice President, Head of Community and Head of Housing Affordability, where efforts focused on affordable housing strategies and community support programs in California. Ruby's experience also includes roles as Development Manager at Lennar, Market Analyst at JLL, and Graduate Research Assistant at UCLA Luskin Department. Ruby's early career involved organizing for UAW Local 2865 and coordinating an informal settlement upgrading project in Johannesburg. Ruby holds a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
