Jose Lara is a highly experienced engineer in process control and automation, currently serving as a Senior Process Control Engineer at Nucor Corporation since January 2022. Prior to this role, Jose Lara held various positions at Ternium, including Líder de proyectos para el área de Modelaje y sistemas inteligentes and Ingeniero senior de automacion, focusing on the development and implementation of mathematical physical models utilizing artificial intelligence. Jose Lara has also worked as Jefe de la División de Modelos y Sistemas Inteligentes at Ternium – SIDOR and as Ingeniero tecnólogo de Automatización in the Models and Intelligent Systems section.
