Leonardo Boccanera

Leonardo Boccanera is an experienced engineering professional with over 30 years in the field. Currently serving as Safety Engineering Manager and Head of Mechanical Technology at Ternium since October 2005, Leonardo has also held positions as Senior Engineer in the Welding & Materials Areas. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at INVAP and Workshop Manager at Nolazco Lopez. Leonardo's educational qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, a specialization in Thermal Spray from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität, and a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Additional training in Metallurgy and Material Technology was obtained from Comision Nacional de Energia Atomica.
